Villa Erba

A 19th century Villa built by Luigi Erba and elevated to the center of art and culture in Lombardy, with extensive grounds, an exhibition center and elaborate indoor ballrooms.

The Italian manierismo style features vast stuccos and frescoes embellished with finely carved wooden ceilings. The great film director Luchino Visconti spent the summers of his youth here, subsequently drawing inspiration to set masterpieces such as "The Leopard". The historical Villa has evocative and refined environments; immersed in a large centuries-old park, it overlooks the quiet panorama of Lake Como, a setting that is both magical and poetic.

Multi-seasonal venue featuring large windows with lake views

One of our favorite aspects of this property is that it is available all year round and has enough space within the grounds and the Villa itself to host large weddings, even during colder months by utilizing the indoor ballrooms or by placing a glass-like greenhouse marque structure on the south facing green space.

Creativity abound for a romantic event

There is a magnitude of layout options within grand ballrooms and green spaces. The ground floor of the villa consists of 5 separate rooms, connecting to each other through a central atrium, often used for the after party with live music. Largest room, Sala Feste, can accommodate up to 90 people in one area. According to the period and the weather conditions, terraces overlooking the lake and the surrounding park can be enjoyed throughout the evening.
